USING IMAGES FROM THIS SITE

Images on this site are copyright. You may only download and use images from this site for PERSONAL USE. They may not be used for commercial gain or on websites that sell products of any kind. They may not be shared or redistributed in any way. You may put images of your own art or craft works on your website if you have used my artwork to create them. You may also post images from my blog to Pinterest. However, credit and/or a link back to my blog would be appreciated so that others may use what I have to offer.

To download, click on the image to open it to it's full size. The pastel images are all scanned at 300dpi. If you want a larger scan, please request it via the contact form at the bottom of the page.

Using digital stamps

You can resize by placing the images on a word processing page:
Open the zipped file you received by double clicking on it. Select all the files and right click. Select copy to copy everything inside the file.

2.       Make a new folder where you want to store the images , open the folder you just made, right click the mouse and click paste. (you only have to do this the first time you use the files).    Open your word processor. Go to insert picture. Find where you stored the picture and add to your page.
4.
It can be hard to place the pictures exactly where you want them in word unless you add a text box to the page first and insert the picture inside the text box. You can drag text boxes anywhere you want.

You  will need a graphics program to layer and colour. Placing images where you want them on the page is also a lot easier. If you don’t know how to use Paintshop Pro or Photoshop, don’t despair. Phoxo is a simple free program you can use instead. You can’t layer with this but you can change colours and add some simple effects. You can download the program here. Save it to your desk top then double click the zipped file and then double click the file inside to install it. Just follow the instructions on screen. it is a very small program – only 4mb.

1. Open the zipped file you received by double clicking on it. Select all the files and right click. Select copy to copy everything inside the file.
2.Make a new folder where you want to store the images , open the folder you just made, right click the mouse and click paste. (You only have to do this the first time you use the files).
3. Open Phoxo. go to the file menu and select new. to get an A4 page that can be easily printed,  in the text box that comes up, make the width 2250 pixels  and the height 3300 pixels. make the resolution 300 pixels.
4. Go to the file menu and open the picture you want to put on the page (or you can click the open file icon). The picture you want will open. In the left hand side box on the page there are two paint buckets. One is a plain fill the other is a patterned fill. To change the colour of the plain fill go to the bottom of the boxes on the left where there is a black square overlapping a white square.

Click on the black square and a box wil come up for you to change the colour of the fill. Change it to the colour you want on your image by moving the cross in the rainbow box. the lightness of the colour is changed by using the slider at the side.notice the colour appears in a small square towards the bottom of the box. When you have the colour you want in the little square  click okay. Now click the fill bucket then click anywhere on the image that you want to colour. The paint will only go on the image, not on the transparent bit so it really doesn’t matter where you click. Now go to the copy icon at the top of the page

click on the big  page you created and click the paste icon (located next to the copy icon)

Click on the move tool and then on the picture you pasted, hold down the mouse and drag the picture to wherever you want it.

To change the size of the picture, click on the transform tool.

and then make sure you have the stretch option selected. (located towards the top of the window)

Green squares will appear at the corners of your image. Click on one and while holding the mouse down, drag the square inwards to make the image smaller. To see the page full (normal) size, click on the 1:1 icon on the top bar of the window.

When you’ve finished adding images to the page,  go to the file menu and select “save as” and save your image as a jpg file.

You an also change colours on the image by using the patterned fill bucket or by going to the image menu and selecting any of the first three options and playing with the sliders. Also in the effect menu there are some effects you can add to your image. Play with those and see what happens! You can always undo it again if you don’t like it.
